A way to gather reactions to new car ideas and gauge their market potential. Anyone — including product planners at automakers — can post a call, subject to application and approval. Each signed-in Google user can respond once.
Posting a call needs no sign-in and no name, so not even the operator has a record of who posted it. Respondents' emails are never shared with organizers or any other company. Anonymity & Data →
An organizer applies with a title, a description of the idea, a spec summary, the target market, price-band options, a call period and who can see the results. No sign-in is needed, and name, affiliation and email are optional. A secret link for managing the call is shown once after applying.
The operator reviews only for compliance with the terms of use and publishes approved calls. The operator does not evaluate or advise on the ideas themselves.
Anyone can flag a problem with a running call using “Report”; calls that violate the terms are taken down.
Question structure
Standard questions (required in every call): where you stand (current owner / previous owner / currently shopping / considered but passed / just interested — self-reported, and results can be viewed by status), how much you want it (5-point scale), the price band you would pay, and purchase intent (interested / want a test drive / would place a refundable deposit).
Respondent details (all optional): the organizer chooses which to ask from age group, gender, region, current car (brand and segment), next purchase timing, budget, household and annual distance driven. Every question has “Prefer not to say”. Details are stored with each response, never on a profile, and your previous entries can be remembered in your own browser only if you choose.
Additional questions: organizers can add up to five (single choice, multiple choice, 5-point scale or free text).
Reading the results and who can see them
The organizer chooses who can see the results when applying (public: anyone / private: only the organizer, via the secret link). The operator can see responses for review and operations.
Organizers see aggregated results only, never individual responses. Nothing is shown until at least 5 people have responded, and in breakdowns by status or demographics, groups with fewer than 5 respondents are hidden. Filtered results are also hidden if fewer than 5 match, or if removing one condition changes the count by 1–4.
Free-text answers are visible only to the organizer and the operator, with email addresses, URLs and phone numbers masked. They are not part of public results.
Price bands are shown in the target market's currency, with approximate yen and US dollar equivalents.
Responses are voluntary, so they are not a sample that represents the whole market.
Respondent privacy
Your name, email address and Google account information are never disclosed to the organizer. Organizers see aggregated results only, and groups with fewer than 5 respondents are hidden. Demographic questions are optional. The email you sign in with is kept only within the sign-in system. It is never published alongside your answers or shared with call organizers or any other company.
