SEGMENT·SCOPE

FOR IDEA ORGANIZERS

Your name never travels with your idea.

Whether you're a product planner at a company or an individual enthusiast, you can gather reactions to an idea without revealing who you are. It's built so that no one — the operator included — has a way to know it's you. Here's how it works.

1. What you provide, and what you don't

What you provide / What you don't have to provide

What you provide

  • The idea (title, description, specs)
  • Your questions and price bands
  • Whether results are public

What you don't have to provide

  • Sign-in (no Google account needed)
  • Your name, company or affiliation
  • An email address
  • Any account details

Name, affiliation and contact email are optional fields. If you fill them in, only the operator sees them, and they never appear on the site.

2. From application to results

  1. Apply

Apply without signing in. No name needed. The application is never linked to any account.

  2. Get your secret link

A management link is shown once. The database keeps only a hash of it, never the link itself.

  3. Published as “Anonymous organizer”

After the operator's review it goes live. The organizer field always reads “Anonymous organizer”.

  4. See the results

Use the secret link to view aggregated results, close or withdraw the call. You never receive respondents' personal data or individual answers.

3. How you appear

How you appear to each party

What the call page shows

Organizer
Anonymous organizer
  • Respondents

    Anonymous organizer

Who posted the call is never shown

  • Visitors

    Anonymous organizer

Not readable from the pages or the API

  • Operator

    No record

Calls aren't linked to accounts, so there's no way to know (unless you fill in the optional fields)

  • Other companies

    Nothing shared

No data is given individually or preferentially to any company

4. How the secret link works

How the secret link works

…/voice/ideas/manage#8f3a…c91e (a random 256-bit value)

The part after # is never sent to the server, so it isn't in access logs

SHA-256

Only the hash is stored

e3b0c442…b855

The link can't be recovered from the hash. Not even the operator knows your link.

What we want to be upfront about

  • If you fill in the optional name, affiliation or contact email fields, the operator can see them (they never appear on the site, and the email is deleted automatically 30 days after the call ends).
  • The providers that host the site and database (Vercel, Supabase) may keep connection records for a period.
  • If you lose your secret link, the operator can't verify who you are — they don't know — so it can't simply be handed back. If you gave a contact email, a new link can be sent there.
  • Anything you write in the call itself (title, description, purpose) is published, so don't include company or personal names there.
